Today, we’re excited to highlight Rod Lee, our Director of Field Operations for the Midwest. With two years at FCA and decades of industry experience, Rod is a driving force behind our commitment to hands-on, customer-first service.
Before joining FCA, Rod built an impressive career spanning various roles, including Director of Asset Control and Hardware Engineering at FCA, Call Center Manager at XL Parts, and Area Manager Technical Support at AT&T. His background is rooted in technical expertise and a passion for customer service, making him a natural fit for his current role.
When asked what he loves most about his job, Rod shared, “Meeting and interacting with new people. I specialize in customer service.” It’s this focus on building relationships and solving challenges that makes Rod a trusted partner for our clients.
Rod’s dedication to problem-solving shines through in his work with FCA clients. He appreciates that every customer has unique needs and often requires immediate solutions. “Each one has a unique circumstance and most ‘Need it Now,’” Rod explains. “I enjoy creating new solutions to solve customer concerns.”
His ability to think creatively and act quickly ensures our clients receive the support they need, when they need it most.
When reflecting on what sets FCA apart from competitors, Rod highlights the company’s unique balance of scale and service. “Technically, we are the size of a mom-and-pop store, but we operate with the mindset of a multinational company. This allows us to still give hands-on experiences to our customers,” he says. This combination of personal attention and operational excellence is at the heart of FCA’s success.
Outside of work, Rod loves playing golf and softball, two activities that require critical thinking in different ways. “Golf is about competing as an individual versus the course,” he explains. “Softball, on the other hand, is about knowing your team’s strengths and the opposing team’s tendencies to be in the right place at the right time to make the play.”
Rod’s love for strategy and teamwork translates seamlessly into his role at FCA, where he works closely with clients and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
